Some of the top Australian wedding photographers now offer this service the day before the wedding. They spend an afternoon with the couple creating all the artistic images. This is all done without any of the time pressures or stress of the wedding day itself.
This is a fantastic idea, which I would be pleased to offer any of my wedding couples. Although I don’t think it will catch on here though due to strong traditions and superstitions.
