Today I’ve been enjoying the biggest snow fall that we’ve probably had in the last 15 years with around 4 inches of snow.
It was surprisingly mild this morning after the blizzard last night – the snow was falling almost horizontally when I took Buster for a walk. This morning I decided to take advantage of the rare weather conditions and took my camera over the local farm fields with Buster.
The sun was shining through the clouds giving a very low contrast but with a bit of Photoshop magic it was possible to create a few nice pictures.
This is the most colourful picture as the sun breaks through the cloud creating a little contrast and giving colour.
A more artistic shot using twisted branches to create curvy lines with strong contrast between the snow and the branches.
Our local church. Maybe I'll shoot a wedding there one day...
It’s been a lot of fun just to photograph something a little different from usual and trying a few different things in Photoshop.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if this was Christmas day – what do you think?
