It was a pleasure to photograph Sharon & Glenn’s wedding in Ipswich Suffolk. It made a change for me to photograph a wedding so close to home
Sharon & Glenn got married at All Hallows Church Ipswich Suffolk. Their wedding reception was held at Ipswich Ruby Club. This was last summer on one of the hottest days of the year with a sweltering in the 30 plus degrees Celsius!
I saw the vicar before meeting Sharon for her bridal preparations. The vicar was friendly but did not allow any photography during the service at all. However he was good allowing plenty of opportunity to photograph the register signing, which took place half way through the service.
The wedding reception was held at Ipswich Rugby Club with a marquee set up outside the club house. The marquee looked fabulous with chandeliers hanging in the roof space. There was plenty of room for the 100 plus guests with a stage for a live band and a dance floor.
Before going to the wedding reception I met Sharon & Glenn at Westerfield House for their bride & groom portraits. They also invited their wedding party and children, so there was only opportunity to get the traditional wedding shots. We were literally only a few hundred yards from the rugby club.
