Our Service

On our iniatial meeting at our home studio you will be able to view complete wedding albums from recent weddings and see the fantastic quality first hand

We will discuss your wedding day to make sure I can take the pictures that you desire and that you are happy we can fulfull your needs.

Once the wedding has been booked, your date will be reserved. We will contact you around six to seven weeks before the wedding to verify all the details with you and note any changes to the schedules. You may also wish to book a Bride's Wedding Night Gift or Romantic Couple Portraits at the same time and receive a £50 discount off the experience fee.

On your Wedding Day, our day starts early with a visit to your wedding location(s) prior to meeting the Bride. Depending on how far apart the Ceremony, Reception and Bride's locations are spaced it may not be practical to visit all sites beforehand.

The main coverage will start with the bridal preparations usually two hours before the ceremony.  I will then leave in time to arrive at the venue, ideally half an hour prior to the ceremony, to capture the boys and your guests arriving. I recommend that the Bride is ready in good time to allow her to have the full set of beautiful Bridal portraits taken.

During the service I keep a low profile and can photography from either the front or the back of the ceremony depending on the situation - discretely capturing emotions and important moments.  Coverage will depend on the minister or registrar conducting the service, which we ask you to discuss with them well in advance.

After the ceremony we will take some more images of the newly married couple at the ceremony location before photographing the traditional group shots, subject to the weather when they will be taken at the reception location. I am not a traditional "line up and shoot" photograher and prefer to keep these as relaxed and informal as possible - ideally these should take no longer than twenty minutes with the good help of the usher(s)! I appreciate that your guests want to have fun rather than be kept waiting around for ages and to help limit this we recommend no more than six to eight groupings. It is not the taking of pictures that is particularly time consuming but finding the Great Aunt Agnus whose wondered off to the bar or to catch up with other relatives!

Once at the Wedding Reception or some other preferred location I photograph the newly wed couple together again before they receive the Wedding Breakfast. These are the images that help create the magic of your day and provide the memories that you will cherish for years to come.

Depending on the Wedding Package chosen, when you receive your Wedding Breakfast I will go off to photography the venue for your meal and will then photograph a mock cake cutting or stay until the end of the meal for the real cutting of the cake and speeches. Then once the cake cutting and speeches have been completed I will check with the Bride if there is anything else required before leaving you all to enjoy the rest of your day. If you would like me to stay longer until the first dance, this is possible for a small additional charge when the Premium Package is booked.

This is an example of a typical wedding day.  Obviously your wedding is individual and I am very happy to be as flexible as you need to ensure you will be happy with the photographs you receive. To this end I incorporate many set poses that will ensure your images depict your fairy tale wedding you have always dreamt of. This is achieved with a sequence of poses of the Bride and later the Bride & Groom together. Apart from this I maintain a discrete profile unless required to ensure that everyone is able to fully enjoy the day.

Digital proofs will typically be ready for viewing within three weeks, when you will return to our home studio to make your album selections.  Images will also be uploaded to our on-line Client Area where friends and family will be able to order their prints.  You will be given a password to ensure no one views your pictures beforehand.  Parent albums and large framed images, etc. are also available.

Wedding albums will be bespoke and will typically take six weeks to complete after you've chosen your album and images.  This can be either collected or posted directly to you.
